If Counter-Strike isnt one of the best online multiplayer games of all time, then i dont know what else is. So far each Counter-Strike game ive played has been awesome, even the very underrated version released for the Xbox is a classic to me. So far ive played; Half-Life: Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Source and the Counter-Strike for the Xbox. Im hoping to play Counter-Strike: Condition Zero as it looks awesome to me although the rating is rather low. Heres just a quick review of what i think to the Counter-Strike games ive played:

Counter-Strike: Source:
The best Counter-Strike out of the lot. This game has awesome physics, graphics, animation and sound. The online play is amazing (although you can get the annoying player now and then) and the offline LAN play is still great with a bunch of Bots. The Bots can be irritating at times as they do some stupid things like walk through walls or shoot the hostages and then say Hostage Down. Dumb. Still, the game is great and is definately recommended for any CS fan.

Counter-Strike (Xbox Version):
This was the first version of Counter-Strike i ever played. At the time i didnt know what all the fuss was about, but although this wasnt the version everyone was going on about, it sure made me addicted to the Counter-Strike Series. It has great Bots, better than those off CSS and the online play is awesome. Its easy to join a match without having to wait 5 year to download something off someone like the PC Counter-Strikes and the System Link play is awesome too. Id recommend this also, to any Counter-Strike fan.

Half-Life: Counter-Strike:
The First Counter-Strike and a classic game, this is awesome. Its similar to the Xbox version in a lot of ways but has a much more exciting online play to it. Because its such an oldish game, many other Mods have been made for it like a Deathmatch game, which is just like any other modes but with no objective and unlimited respawns. Its a really fun game and is the father of all the CS games. The Bots are amazing on this game. Theyre intelligent, they talk to each other and are really tactical. This has the best Bots you can find on any game today.

So as you can see, Counter-Strike is just amazing. I cant wait to get playing CS: Condition Zero. You can also play the 1.6 version too if you wish, just do a Gamespot search on Counter-Strike and click on Half-Life: Counter-Strike, go to the Downloads tab and select the Counter-Strike Mod download. The retail version of Half-Life 1 is required.
